Mechanical Assembly Technician

Express Employment on 61st and Center is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a local company in Omaha, NE.

Position Details:
•    Type: Evaluation Hire 
•    Schedule: 1st shift, Monday - Friday
•    Location: Omaha, NE
•    Pay/Salary: Up to $20/hour 

Job Duties:
•    Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of products and parts.
•    Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
•    Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble components.
•    Inspect and test completed assemblies for quality assurance.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
•    Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
•    Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements:
•    Proven experience in a skilled assembly or mechanical technician role (1-2+ years preferred).
•    Hand and power tool experience required.
•    Strong understanding of assembly techniques and tools.
•    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•    Strong communication and teamwork skills.
•    Ability to lift heavy components and stand for long periods.
