Laborer / Utility Technician Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor hydraulic and mechanical press equipment
• Operate industrial saws and other fabrication and manufacturing machinery
• Select appropriate templates, materials, and components based on work orders
• Assist the department foreman with daily production goals and workflow
• Support other departments during downtime to maintain productivity
• Perform production and fabrication tasks according to quality standards
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Report equipment problems, required repairs, or quality issues promptly
• Follow all company safety procedures and production instructions

• Ability to read a tape measure quickly and accurately
• Strong attention to detail and ability to minimize material waste and scrap
• Strong math and number comprehension skills
• Comfortable working around industrial equipment and machinery
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing or production environment
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software and systems
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Team-oriented attitude with a focus on safety and quality

Physical & Work Requirements

• Active, hands-on manufacturing position
• Ability to stand and move throughout the workday
• Frequent lifting, carrying, reaching, and material handling
• Comfortable working around industrial presses, saws, and fabrication equipment
• Must follow required workplace safety procedures
• PPE provided

Schedule & Pay

• $17–$20 per hour based on experience
• Full-time, direct-hire position
• Monday–Friday
• 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• No weekends
• No travel required
