Utility Technician – Full-Time | $16–$20/hr

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm No Travel Required

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring Utility Technicians for a direct hire opportunity in Donora, PA. This is a great role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team.

Position Overview

As a Utility Tech, you’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining the hydraulic and/or mechanical press equipment, industrial saws, and other fabrication machinery as needed.

• Select the proper template and materials for the work order.
• Assist the department foreman in meeting production targets.
• Assist in other departments when downtime occurs.
• Maintain quality standards.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Notify managers concerning any non-conformities and the need for repairs to the facility or equipment.
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.

Position Details

• Candidates must be able to read a tape measure quickly and accurately in order to keep scrap at a minimum.
• Have exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong focus on safety and quality; team player mentality a must.
• Have ability to apply computer software skills, ability to learn applications quickly.
• Have good working knowledge of figures and numbers.
• Be able to work quickly and efficiently.

Pay Range: $16–$20/hour (based on experience)
