A local chemical manufacturer is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician ll to join a quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scientific research and laboratory procedures, with a focus in chemistry.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory experiments and tests following established protocols and procedures.
• Using documented methods, tests raw materials, products and finished goods to specifications.
• Participate in root cause investigations and makes adjustments to out-of-specification batches.
• Accurately, clearly and timely record and report the results according to specified guidelines and/or standard operating procedures.
• Prepare samples for analysis
• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning properly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with researchers to design experiments that meet project objectives.
• Stay updated on relevant and best practices in laboratory operations.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of related experience 
• Highschool Diploma or GED required
• B.S in Chemistry or related science required 
• Must possess the ability to work in a fast pace environment, to work at different projects at the same time, and to think analytically
• Strong computer skills required

Hours: 6am-2:30pm 

Pay: $25-$32
