Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, specializing in automotive painting and restoration on heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and be proficient in various painting techniques, including airless paint spraying. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with hand and power tools effectively.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary
• Apply paint using airless spray equipment and other methods to achieve a high-quality finish
• Perform auto body repairs, including fabrication and welding tasks as needed
• Conduct vehicle maintenance and detailing to ensure optimal presentation
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various repair and restoration tasks
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs
• Assist in auto estimating processes to determine the scope of work required

Requirements

• Previous dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Proficiency in MIG welding, fabrication, and mechanical knowledge is essential
• Experience with vehicle maintenance, auto body repair, sheet metal work, soldering, and auto restoration is highly desirable
• Familiarity with assembly processes and detailing techniques is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy objects as part of the job requirements
• Strong skills in automotive repair, auto painting, and airless paint spraying are necessary
• Experience with auto glass installation is beneficial
• A commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential for success in this role
