Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking Construction General Laborers for several local construction projects. The construction general laborer supports various construction tasks on job sites, ensuring projects run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This position involves physical labor, operating hand and power tools, site cleanup, loading and unloading materials, and assisting skilled tradespeople as needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a team-oriented environment under changing conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general construction labor tasks including demolition, site preparation, cleanup, and material handling.

• Load, unload, and distribute building materials and tools.

• Operate hand and power tools such as drills, saws, grinders, and jackhammers.

• Assist skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) with on-site tasks.

• Erect and dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding, barricades, and forms.

• Clean and maintain job site, tools, and equipment.

• Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines and procedures.

• Dig trenches, level ground, and perform basic grading or concrete prep work.

• Perform flagging duties to direct traffic when required.

• Report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues to supervisors immediately.

Pay: $12.00/HR - $15.00/HR

Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00 PM

Requirements

• Prior experience in construction or manual labor 

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting 50+ lbs, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.

• Willingness to work in outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
