Express Employment Professionals is seeking Dishwashers for a local client. The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and all kitchen equipment in a fast-paced casino environment. This position ensures the kitchen and dish areas are clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations, supporting smooth kitchen operations and an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial dishwashing machines to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools.

• Hand-wash delicate or oversized items that cannot be cleaned in the machine.

• Sort and properly store clean dishes and kitchen equipment in designated areas.

• Maintain cleanliness of dish area, floors, walls, and garbage bins.

• Remove trash and recycling from the kitchen and dish area regularly.

• Assist with basic kitchen cleaning duties such as wiping down counters, cleaning floors, and organizing storage.

• Monitor cleaning supplies and chemicals; report low stock to supervisor.

• Ensure all equipment is handled safely and maintained in good working condition.

• Follow all health department, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.

• Assist kitchen staff with prep work or food handling tasks as requested.

Schedule:  8:00am - 4:00pm

Requirements

• Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen

• Ability to operate dishwashing equipment and understand basic kitchen sanitation.

• Must be able to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift (up to 50 lbs).

• Ability to work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced environment.

• Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Food Handler’s Permit/Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) required.
