Express Employment is partnering with a company in Donalds, SC and seeking an Accountant.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Generate, issue, and track customer invoices.
Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collections.
Reconcile AR balances and resolve discrepancies.
Follow up with clients regarding overdue payments.
Record receipts and allocate customer payments correctly.
Accounts Payable (AP):

Review, verify, and process vendor invoices.
Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure timely payments.
Prepare and process payment runs (checks, transfers, etc.).
Reconcile AP balances with vendor statements.
Resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
General Accounting & Reporting:

Post and reconcile journal entries for AR/AP transactions.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation.

 

Salary DOE: $25-$30/hr

Contract length-4-6 months
