Field Service Technician (heavy travel required)

Salary: $25-$40/hour

We have partnered with a world-leading manufacturer of high-precision and high-performance laser cutting and sawing machines.

Summary:

We are looking for a Service Engineer.  This person will work under direct supervision of the Service Manager. High school Diploma. Associates Degree in Technical discipline is preferred or comparable military experience.  2-4 years of prior experience performing this role. At least one year in customer service.

Qualifications:

• Support the sales staff in servicing equipment and inserts.
• Installs new equipment at customer sites.
• Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, and service of equipment for customers at the client sites.
• Document all services performed on the equipment as well as services that will be needed in the future. 
• Maintains excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.
• Maintains a safe work environment and operates within OSHA/MIOSHA guidelines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Skilled in repair on CNC mills and lathes, including determining feed and speed rates.
• Ability to understand and use I/O structure for technical troubleshooting purposes.
• Ability to effectively utilize electric/electronic test/ measurement equipment.
• Must be able to understand, analyze and resolve technical, mechanical, or electrical issues based on measured data results.
• Ability to accurately document technical data regarding the steps taken to address equipment and product issues.
• Customer services skills.
• Highly organized
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work effectively under minimum supervision.

Monday - Friday 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
