Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join the team. This role works under the direct supervision of the Service Manager. A High School Diploma is required; an Associate Degree in a technical discipline or comparable military experience is preferred. Candidates should have 2–4 years of related experience and at least one year of customer service experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support sales staff in servicing equipment and inserts
• Install new equipment at customer sites
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, and general service at client locations
• Document all service activities, including future service needs
• Maintain exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Follow OSHA and MIOSHA safety standards and promote a safe work environment
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication
• Repair CNC mills and lathes, including determining appropriate feed and speed rates
• Use I/O structures for advanced technical troubleshooting
• Operate electrical and electronic diagnostic/test equipment
• Analyze measured data to diagnose and resolve technical, mechanical, and electrical issues
• Accurately document all technical steps taken to resolve equipment concerns
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Communicate clearly and professionally in both verbal and written formats
• Stay highly organized and maintain accurate service records

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate Degree in a technical field or related military experience preferred
• 2–4 years of experience as a Service Engineer or similar role
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience
• Proficiency with CNC machinery repair, including feed and speed calculations
• Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical, mechanical, and I/O systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Skilled in the use of electronic test and measurement tools
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
