Packing Technician Job Summary:

We are seeking a Packing Technician to join our client, a manufacturer of flexible packaging and resealable bags. As a Packaging Technician, you will play a crucial role in our client’s production process by helping to operate the machine, and carefully checking and packing finished products. Your responsibilities will include set up and operation of the machine a well as quality checking finished products, ensuring proper measurements, count, and seal, as well as packing products according to specifications, making sure they are ready for shipment and distribution.

Packaging Technician Responsibilities:

• Set up of machine
• Running the machine
• Examine and inspect products to ensure quality is met
• Measure and count finished products
• Pack products into boxes/crates in specified quantities
• Remove defective products and place them in designated areas
• Collaborate with others to document and track production issues, waste, and delays

Hand Packer Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, machine op/packaging preferred
• Ability to read and interpret measurements using a tape measure
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Mathematical skills (basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
