About the Role

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Die Cutting Operator for a direct-hire opportunity with a leading manufacturer of paperboard and paper-based packaging. This role is responsible for setting up and operating die cutting machines to produce folding cartons that meet quality and production standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate die cutting machines, counter plates, stripping sections, and press equipment.
• Review job tickets, perform pre-make ready, and ensure quality throughout production runs.
• Maintain clean work areas and perform basic machine maintenance.
• Deliver cut cartons to the finishing department.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of die cutting, printing, or related machine operation experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts plus overtime; flexibility for alternate schedules including early mornings, nights, or weekends.
• Physical comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive movements.
