Express Employment is looking for a Full-Time, Welder. This is a Long Term position.
Location: Chico, Ca
Pay: $20 - $31/Hour
Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:30am - 5:00pm (OT may be required)

Job Duties:

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Pulse welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and structural components.
• Weld agricultural equipment frames and related parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment.
• Fit, tack, and weld components to meet specifications and tolerances.
• Measure, align, and prepare materials for welding.
• All other duties assigned by Supervisor.

 

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of current experience in mechanical assembly is preferred
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus
• Standing, walking, bending, reaching 10 hours a shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• General knowledge of production equipment and machinery.
