A well-established and growing outdoor company is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to join their team! 

Overview
This role is responsible for executing key marketing initiatives while also ensuring our product catalog delivers a best-in-class shopping experience. The ideal candidate thrives in both creative and analytical environments, is highly organized, and takes pride in deliveringhigh-quality work across multiple channels.  

This is a hands-on execution role with ownership over two critical areas of the business:  Marketing Execution and Merchandising Excellence. As a Marketing Specialist, you will focus on two primary areas:
Marketing
•    Execute and support marketing initiatives across all core channels to drive traffic, engagement, and revenue growth.
•    Execute campaigns across email, paid search (SEM), organic search (SEO), social, media, print, referral programs, and ambassador initiatives
•    Coordinate campaign calendars and ensure timely deployment of all marketing efforts
•    Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across channels, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization
•    Assist in content creation and campaign messaging aligned with brand voice and seasonal strategy
•    Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with product launches, promotions, and inventory priorities
Merchandising
•    Own and continuously improve the quality and performance of the product catalog.
•    Create and maintain product descriptions that are accurate, compelling, and SEO
•    optimized
•    Manage product imagery, ensuring consistency, quality, and completeness
•    Build and enhance product detail pages with attribute blocks, content sections, and supporting media
•    Maintain and improve product finder tools and filtering systems to enhance the customer shopping experience
•    Ensure all product listings represent best-in-class standards for usability, clarity, and conversion
•    Identify gaps or opportunities within the catalog and take initiative to improve them

•    Own all aspects of the product catalog and product merchandising, product attributes, image uploads and other product related content
•    Assist in development and lead the implementation of long-term strategy for each of the top-level product categories based on the projected growth opportunities
•    Work with Marketing and Purchasing teams to develop sell-through strategies for underperforming categories and SKUs
•    Work with the Purchasing Team to expand the product offering in an efficient way throughout product categories
•    Write unique and compelling copy that is optimized for SEO for all products in the catalog
•    Collaborate with the Marketing and Purchasing Teams to create key media pieces (video, photos, resource section content) for top-selling SKUs in each product category
•    Manage the company’s strategy, listing, promotion and performance on online marketplaces–e.g. Amazon, eBay
•    Oversee product creation and product lifecycle management
•    Optimize online navigation, search filters, product sorting rules and overall site presentation based on a data driven approach (click funnels, traffic, conversion, etc.)
•    Optimize product sell-through using merchandising tactics to drive revenue and conversion growth
•    Manage and optimize top performing landing pages and categories. Identify ways to improve the customer experience
•    Prepare a monthly report on KPIs listed below; including analysis and proposing recommendations
•    Ensure that all site product content is current, relevant, accurate, engaging and
•    optimized for organic search
•    Lead internal technology initiatives to make all aspects of merchandising easier and more efficient, including ownership of integrations and 3rd party resources
•    Stay up-to-date with current and developing eCommerce merchandising trends, research and analyze the competitive landscape.
