Responsibilities: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned)

• Assists in racking extrusions onto conveyor for sawing
• Instructs helpers in proper racking procedures
• Sets up saw gauge to insure proper cut length
• Determines Proper length for minimal scrap
• Determines piece count required from shop order
• Maintains accurate piece count and complete proper records
• Keeps lubricant container full
• Selects and changes saw blades as required
• Instructs saw helpers in proper stacking and tying procedures of finished extrusions
• Keeps extrusion free from saw chips
• Inspects metal for any imperfections
• Cut any scrap in scrap containers or racks from other departments
• Follows company safety rules and policies
• Responsible for cleanliness and housekeeping of assigned areas
• Checks extrusions with gauges and measuring instruments as required
• Performs other tasks as required
