Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Service Technician on behalf of one of our clients. We are looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined Service Technician who is comfortable working in an industrial environment and enjoys solving problems in the field.

This Service Technician role supports customer operations, assists with equipment maintenance, performs troubleshooting, and helps ensure products and systems are operating properly. The ideal Service Technician will have strong mechanical ability, industrial experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Overview – Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will provide on-site support to customer locations, assist with equipment maintenance, gather operational data, and help maintain product and system performance. This Service Technician position is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys field work, problem solving, and hands-on mechanical work.

Responsibilities of the Service Technician:

• Provide on-site service and support to customer locations as a Service Technician
• Install, repair, service, test, and troubleshoot equipment and systems
• Assist with product deliveries, packaging, and inventory control
• Gather and compile operational reports and field data
• Support product trials and project work at customer sites
• Train customers on proper operation, maintenance, and procedures
• Identify equipment issues and communicate findings to leadership
• Use hand tools, slings, chains, forklifts, and other basic equipment as needed

Required Skills for the Service Technician:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of industrial, maintenance, or mechanical experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, and climbing
• Comfortable working in industrial environments with heat, dust, and moving equipment

Additional Details:

• Flexible schedule required, including occasional nights and weekends
• Travel up to 75% within the U.S. may be required
