Process Technician I (Quality Control)

Shift: Wednesday - Saturday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 / hour

Essential Job Duties: 

• Visual inspection; verification of part cosmetic quality, incoming / outgoing part quantity, confirmation of part & serial number identification, & generation of non-conformance report as needed.

Job Duties:

• Following Product Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
• Successfully planning and executing hourly tasks and assignments, as it relates to product Turn-Around-Time (TAT)
• Overall Product Quality Assurance as it relates to overall product inspection
• Daily equipment check lists and sign-offs
• Tasked with Departmental and 5S Continuous Improvement in order to reduce internal defects and overall internal quality issues
• Following Document Control Procedure in relation to ISO Compliance.
• Measuring and recording data, by use of calibrated measurement tools, where required
• Inspection and Measurement of process, product and equipment to ensure quality requirements according to specifications.
• Measuring variety of parts such as ceramic, metal, quartz parts for dimension, roughness, thickness and weight using Precision Instruments: CMM, Profilometer, Microscope, Gauge, Weight scale.
• Monitoring of process/equipment such as temperature and power.
• Recording inspection results in MES. Reporting nonconforming product to appropriate staff.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Demonstrate pro-active attitude, practices and behavior for organizational goal attainment
• Ability to communicate and maintain professional relationships with all internal Departments, Customers and Vendors
• Basic MS Office computer skills, Must be organized, Attention to detail is a must
• Ability to multi-task with successful results on the day-to-day operations
• Must be familiar with quality assurance principles and inspection techniques / procedures
• Ability to identify the following; AI.,SS, Ti Si, Quartz, ceramic substrates and various types of part coatings
• Experience with measurement/inspection equipment. Knowledge of units, basic mathematics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratio and percentage
