Tool and Die Machinist - 2nd Shift

Salary: $25.00 / hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking reliable and experienced candidates for a Tool & Dye Machinist position with an Established Local Manufacturing Company. This position will pay $25.00 per hour, and the hours are Monday - Friday from 3:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. 

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, maintain, and repair precision dies, tools, jigs, and fixtures while performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
• Operate and program CNC and manual machines (lathes, mills, grinders, EDMs) and utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure tight tolerances
• Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications while collaborating with production and engineering teams to improve tooling design and resolve failures
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• TCAT Certified is preferred
• Possess tools for measuring in Calipers, Micrometers and basic hand tools
• Capable of standing on a concrete surface for the duration of the shift
• Capable of working in a non-temperature-controlled environment as well as a very hot/dirty environment 
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steel-toed shoes/boots and Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear
• Capable of maintaining an attendance record within Company guidelines
