A grain elevator in Copeland, KS is hiring a dependable Scale Clerk Operator to assist with harvest season operations. This role is responsible for weighing grain trucks, recording transactions, and providing excellent service to drivers and producers.
Weigh and document inbound and outbound grain trucks
Issue scale tickets and maintain accurate records
Communicate effectively with drivers, producers, and elevator staff
Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety guidelines
Assist with office and elevator support duties as needed
High school diploma or GED required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer/data entry skills
Good communication and customer service abilities
Dependable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $17.50/hour
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (with overtime as needed during harvest)
