A grain elevator in Copeland, KS is seeking a dependable Scale Clerk Operator to join their team. This role is key during harvest season, ensuring accurate grain weighing, ticketing, and customer service for producers and drivers.
Weigh and record inbound/outbound grain trucks accurately
Issue scale tickets and maintain organized records
Communicate effectively with drivers, producers, and elevator staff
Monitor compliance with company policies and safety guidelines
Assist with office and elevator support tasks as needed
High school diploma or GED required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer skills (ticketing/record-keeping systems)
Good communication and customer service skills
Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $17.50/hour
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (overtime as needed during harvest)
