Forklift Operator

Job Summary:
The Warehouse/Forklift Associate supports daily warehouse operations by handling flooring materials, operating forklifts and other equipment, and ensuring accurate receiving, storage, and distribution of products. This role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.

• Load and unload flooring materials from trucks and trailers.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.

• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for delivery or installation crews.

• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, including flooring rolls, tiles, adhesives, and supplies.

• Ensure warehouse is clean, safe, and compliant with company and OSHA standards.

• Assist in cycle counts and regular inventory audits.

• Support installation teams by preparing materials and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.

• Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and use of PPE.

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse or forklift experience required (certification preferred).

• Ability to lift and move heavy flooring materials (up to 75 lbs).

• Basic math and organizational skills for inventory and order management.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
