Small Engine Technician

Salary: $17 / Hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable and experienced candidates for a Small Engine Technician position to work with an Agriculture and Construction Equipment Dealership. This position will pay $17 / hour, and the hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 A.M - 5:00 P.M.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot small engines
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tune-ups, belt replacements, sharpening blades and filter changes
• Inspect equipment for wear, tear and damage or safety issues
• Maintain repair records and parts usage
• Inspect equipment.
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have small engine repair experience - certifications are a plus
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Familiar with lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, small engines and hand tools
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE
