Certified Medical Assistant

Located in Red Bluff, CA

Salary: $19.00-$21.00/hour

*Full-time, day shift position!

 

Responsibilities of Certified Medical Assistant:

• Take and record patient vitals (height, weight, temperature, pulse, etc.) and input data into system.
• Answer front office medical questions.
• Coordinate patient referrals, and manage medical records while ensuring compliance with legal and HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized exam room, manage inventory, and monitor equipment.

• Performs 12 lead EKG's, audiometric screening and laboratory procedures in compliance with all standards and regulations following the Clinical Lab Improvement Amendments (CLIA) for accuracy, reliability and timeliness of patient test results.

• Handle phone calls as needed for providers.
• Schedule patient follow-up appointments
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements of Certified Medical Assistant:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
• At least one year of experience in a medical clinic.
• Willingness to rotate Saturday clinics.
• ability to obtain CPR and first aid certification within a specified time frame.
• Valid drivers license.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOJ fingerprinting.
