Schedule: 12 hour rotating shift. 7am-7pm.

Job Description:

            Responsibilities:

The Yard Jockey is responsible for operating a yard truck to move trailers in and out of dock doors and a forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials as well as following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices. Drivers License is required. CDL A is NOT required.

 Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies

 Move trailers in/out of dock doors with yard truck

 Ensure dock door safety is being followed

 Seal trailer with loaded product and keep records

 Secure product in accordance with customer requirements

 Load and unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device

 Monitor material usage on work floor and supply production lines with raw materials

 Weigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedules

 Keep production lines supplied with raw materials

 Inventory product as needed. And label, sort, wrap and tie product

 Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device

 Other duties as assigned by management

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

 High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

 Current OSHA forklift driving certification.

 

Hours: 

3 Days on|4 Days Off one week

4 Days on |3 Days Off on two weeks

 

Dress code: Jeans, t-shirt, NO jewelry, nothing with holes, rips, tears or with profanity on it or offensive. Steel Toe Shoes.

Length of assignment:  Temporary/Project

Pay Rate: $23/hr

 

Timesheets: 

You will clock in and out at the facility. Timesheets will be emailed to us by client.
