Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Counter Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting with automotive parts sales and order fulfillment. This position requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of automotive repair and service processes.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries regarding automotive parts and services.
• Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Maintain inventory management systems to track stock levels and assist in restocking as needed.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to manage orders and service requests.
• Communicate effectively with both customers and team members to provide updates on order status and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.
• Apply math skills for pricing, invoicing, and inventory calculations.
• Assist in the overall maintenance of the counter area to ensure a clean and organized workspace.

Experience

• Previous experience in automotive service or repair is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong sales management skills with a focus on customer satisfaction are essential.
• Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and inventory management practices is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to maintain composure under pressure will be key to success in this role.
