Class A CDL Driver

Express Employment on 61st and Center is recruiting for a CDL A Driver to join a local company in South Omaha!  

Position Details:
•    Type: Full time
•    Schedule: Day shift – ranges 6am – 5pm. HOME DAILY
•    Location: Omaha, NE
•    Pay/Salary: Up to $25/hour

Job Duties:
•    Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company regulations.
•    Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition.
•    Deliver goods to designated locations on time and in excellent condition.
•    Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs, bills of lading, and other necessary documentation.
•    Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
•    Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is properly secured for transit.
•    Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:
•    Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
•    Manual endorsement preferred but not required.
•    Proven experience as a truck driver, with a strong understanding of truck operations and safety procedures.
•    Ability to operate different types of trucks and equipment as required.
•    Excellent time management and organizational skills.
•    Strong communication and customer service abilities.
•    Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading cargo.
•    High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
