Construction Helper

Located in tigard, OR

Ready to roll up your sleeves and build something great? We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking Construction Helper to support our project teams with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

In this role, you’ll assist with a variety of construction tasks, including preparing job sites, moving materials and equipment, demolition, installations, and general site cleanup. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to gain valuable construction experience.

Construction experience is a plus, and CDL experience or certification is a bonus.

What You’ll Do

• Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.

• Work closely with project managers and supervisors to understand daily assignments and priorities.

• Prepare and maintain job sites by clearing debris and organizing work areas.

• Assist with demolition and removal of structures as needed.

• Help assemble and install construction components under the direction of experienced team members.

• Build, set up, and take down temporary structures such as scaffolding and bracing.

• Dig, backfill, level, and compact soil for construction and foundation work.

• Operate or assist with construction equipment and power tools while following all safety procedures.

• Load, unload, and move materials as needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.

• Perform other construction-related duties as assigned.

• Comfortable performing physically demanding, hands-on work.

• Construction or general labor experience is preferred but not required.

• CDL experience or certification is a plus.

• Commitment to following workplace and job-site safety procedures.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional early mornings, late finishes, and overtime.
