Security Officer

We’re hiring a Security Officer to join our team and help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff, guests, and clients. In this role, you’ll be the eyes and ears of the property—patrolling grounds, monitoring access points, and responding to suspicious activity with professionalism and confidence.

Security Officer Duties and Responsibilities:

• Patrol the property and perimeter at scheduled intervals to ensure safety and security
• Monitor surveillance cameras and watch for suspicious or unusual activity
• Control access to gates and entry points, checking credentials of employees, visitors, and vehicles
• Inspect doors, windows, and fences to make sure they're secure and functioning properly
• Provide a strong, confident presence to help deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
• Identify potentially dangerous situations and respond calmly and appropriately
• Detain individuals when necessary and alert law enforcement for further action
• Respond to emergencies, sound alarms, and assist with evacuation or incident control
• Write detailed reports on incidents, damage, or irregular activity during your shift
• Follow all local and company-specific safety and security protocols
