A Drum Packer is responsible for filling, sealing, and labeling drums with materials such as liquids, powders, or chemicals. Key tasks include ensuring correct packing, inspecting for quality, adhering to safety protocols, and operating packing equipment. They must maintain accurate records and ensure products meet safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pack materials into drums, ensuring correct quantities and labeling.
• Seal and label drums with product and safety information.
• Inspect drums for defects and ensure quality control.
• Operate packing machinery and perform basic maintenance.
• Follow safety guidelines, especially when handling hazardous materials.
• Keep accurate records of packed materials.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Attention to detail, physical stamina, and basic mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and basic math.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred.

This role ensures products are securely packed and ready for shipment while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

 

$16/hr 8:30am-5pm Monday through Friday
