Housekeeper

Salary: $13-16/hr

Express Employment Professionals West Des Moines is actively recruiting a Housekeeper to join a local company's team.

Duties:

- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Push heavy carts and use vacuum cleaners that require significant bending and lifting
- Check stocking levels of all inventory and replace when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices

-Weekends included

Experience:

- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Integrity and ability to work independently

Skills:

- Custodial skills
- Housekeeping management skills
- Hotel housekeeping experience
- Ability to clean efficiently and effectively
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards
- Experience in industrial cleaning techniques
