Waste Water Technician $21/hr.

Salary: $21/hr.

Express Employment of Long Beach is seeking an Wastewater Technician to learn Waste Water processing in San Pedro.  This is a great assignment to learn processing and potentially get a long term job.  Extensive training provided.  

POSITION:  Wastewater Technician   
LOCATION:  San Pedro
PAY:  $20/hr.

HOURS:  Sunday-Wednesday 11PM-9:30AM and/or Sunday - Thursday 8:30AM-5PM

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Change out strainer trains, cleaning strainer baskets, emptying wash bays
• Assist with truck offloading
• Assist with Quality Assurance and control of injection fluid
• Serve as a repair and maintenance helper of operational equipment
• Assist operational personnel with site upkeep
• Complete reporting paperwork
• General site cleaning

Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Experience 

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Willing to work hard
• Accept and follow instructions exactly
• Ability to stay on task
• Ability to work 10 hours days, primarily standing
• Teachable, listen, learn the new tasks
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent team player
