Deliver top customer service!

Showroom sales consultants increase sales, market share, company profitability and customer satisfaction by working with the consumer public, suppliers, contractors, designers, architects and their clients in choosing plumbing fixtures and or related items for kitchens, baths and recreational areas. They provide expert product selection assistance, expedite orders from vendors and conduct customer visits as needed.

Principal Duties

· Work with customers, contractors and vendors in planning and product selection

· Use strong consultative sales skills, negotiation and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, strong follow up skills and motivation to make the sale

· Assist the manager in marketing campaigns

· Monitor customer returns

· Maintain accurate and organized customer files

Communicate with customers in person, phone and email

· Schedule deliveries

· Work with local outside salespeople to assist in following up with any issues

· Develop long-term relationships with builders, contractors and local builder associations

· Coordinate the ordering, receiving and delivery of products in a timely manner

· maintain customer database, pricing matrix, order product, etc.

· Other duties as assigned
