CPA Licensed Tax Accountant – Business Returns and Client Advisory

Salary: $30 - 40/hr +

We’re hiring a CPA Tax Accountant to join a small but thriving accounting firm in Beaverton, recently acquired by a forward-thinking new owner. If you enjoy preparing business returns, collaborating directly with clients, and keeping accounting systems rock solid, this might be the right fit for you.

This role is hands-on, rewarding, and highly collaborative. The firm has a loyal client base and a reputation for quality, so we’re looking for someone who brings a high standard of integrity, great communication skills, and a solid foundation in tax accounting and trial balance review.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepare and review business tax returns for small- to mid-sized companies
• Perform trial balances and ensure all records are accurate and compliant
• Provide direct tax and accounting support to business clients
• Answer client questions, provide guidance, and build trusted relationships
• Collaborate with Jerrod on CPA-level tasks and help divide workflow
• Maintain strong records and help ensure timely filing and reporting
• Use accounting software and office systems (remote access provided)
• Stay current on tax laws and best practices
