Pay: $25.01 – $43.06/hr (DOE)
Schedule: 8- or 12-hour shifts | Must be open to overtime, early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed
Travel: Up to 25%

We are partnering with a leading manufacturing facility in Gresham to hire a Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity. This is a full-time, permanent position with strong long-term potential, ideal for someone with a background in industrial maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heavy machinery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot production and plant equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures using schematics and diagnostic tools
• Install and repair wiring, components, plumbing systems, and mechanical equipment
• Document maintenance activities and order necessary repair parts
• Operate hand tools, power tools, welders, and testing devices
• Follow safety protocols and participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Industrial maintenance experience required
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and maintenance manuals
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• SAP experience and spreadsheet proficiency are a plus
• Technical training or certifications preferred but not required

 

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 60 lbs occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently
• Frequent standing, kneeling, bending, climbing, and crouching
• Comfortable working in fluctuating temperatures and loud environments
• Must wear appropriate PPE (steel-toed boots, gloves, safety glasses, etc.)
