Customer Sales and Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service & Stockroom Representative (CSSR) for a client in Big Flats who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. This role supports our front counter, inside sales, and stockroom operations by delivering responsive, knowledgeable, and dependable service to our customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer support via phone, email, and in-person interactions

• Accurately enter and manage orders using SAP

• Assist in stockroom duties including pulling, packing, shipping, and receiving orders

• Use calipers to measure industrial parts and ensure proper specifications

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace

• Support inventory control and cycle counts

• Collaborate closely with sales and technical teams to ensure seamless service

Requirements:

• 6+ months of customer service experience or 1+ year in a stockroom or driving role within industrial distribution

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Experience using SAP in a customer service environment

• Working knowledge of industrial products and hydraulics

• Willingness to learn and apply caliper measurement techniques

• A highly developed sense of integrity and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
