Duties:

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various types of generator systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot generator issues, including mechanical, electrical, and fuel-related problems.
Install new generator systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Provide emergency repair services to ensure minimal downtime for clients.
Conduct load bank testing and performance evaluations to ensure optimal generator operation.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation of work performed.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of issues and recommended solutions.
Stay updated with industry advancements and manufacturer updates to provide the best service possible.

Qualification:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
Proven experience as a Generator Service Technician or similar role.
Strong understanding of generator systems, including diesel, natural gas, and propane generators.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Availability to work on-call and respond to emergency situations as needed.
