Salary: $12-$15/hr

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking General Laborers for a local plant. The General Laborer supports various production, packaging, and material handling tasks to ensure efficient operations. This role involves manual labor, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the production and manufacturing of drywall products
• Load and unload materials, products, and equipment manually or with forklifts/pallet jacks
• Operate basic machinery or assist machine operators as needed
• Stack, package, and label finished drywall products
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Support other departments as needed

Pay: $12.00-$15.00/HR

Schedule: 7:30am – 4:30pm

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or construction experience is a plus
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• 8” Lace up steel toed boots
• Willingness to work in dusty, noisy, and sometimes hot/cold environments
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion required throughout shift
