The Deburring Technician will be responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from metal parts and components, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-1:30am
• Evaluation-to-hire

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform deburring, grinding, polishing, and cleaning of metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
• Inspect parts for burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections, ensuring all surfaces are smooth and meet quality standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to understand part requirements
• Maintain and operate deburring equipment safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
• Record and document work completed, noting any issues or discrepancies
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Continuously improve deburring processes and techniques for efficiency and quality

Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to bend, lift, and twist as needed for various tasks
• Previous deburring, metalworking, or related experience (preferred)
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as deburring equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Basic computer experience for documenting
