DOT Truck Driver / Forklift Operator

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious DOT Truck Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for safely operating company trucks, transporting and delivering goods and materials, and assisting with loading and unloading using a forklift. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to follow delivery instructions and complete required documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and operate trucks in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Read and follow instructions, including locating destinations using road maps and location maps.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of trucks to ensure vehicles are safe and ready for operation.
• Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver items according to assigned instructions.
• Safely load and unload cargo using a forklift and other appropriate equipment.
• Operate a forklift as needed to move, stage, and organize materials.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Follow all safe work practices, company policies, and procedures at all times.
• Complete, review, and verify delivery paperwork and other required documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and other job-related activities.
• Stay current on job knowledge through training, educational opportunities, and industry updates.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid DOT-required driving credentials and medical certification.
• Ability to meet applicable DOT driving requirements.
• Forklift operating experience and ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Previous truck driving and delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to safely load and unload materials.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Commitment to safe driving practices and workplace safety.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
