Shift B - Utility Worker

Located in Sulphur Springs, TX

Salary: $18.50/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Shift B - Utility Worker position for a local Sulphur Springs, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Perform recycling and general utility duties including taking out trash and maintaining clean work areas
• Support sanitation and changeover processes, including cleaning bottling coolers and equipment
• Assist with master sanitation tasks to maintain plant cleanliness and food safety standards
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety procedures at all times
• Help support production teams to meet or exceed daily productivity goals
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all assigned tasks
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned rotating schedule (2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on / 2 days off)
• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Ability to perform physically demanding work including standing for long periods, walking, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, and crouching
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs routinely
• Willingness to work in environments exposed to moving mechanical parts, conveyors, vibration, and varying temperatures (hot, cold, humid, and wet conditions)
