Job Title: Production Associate I (Packing) – 3rd Shift, Artisan Bread

Schedule: Full-Time | 3rd Shift | 5x8s
Pay: $18.00/hr + $2 shift differential

We’re hiring a Production Associate I for the Artisan Bread department on 3rd shift in Lodi, CA. This entry-level production role involves packing, labeling, and quality-checking baked goods while working as part of a team to meet production goals in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pack, label, seal, and palletize products according to specifications

  • Operate basic packing equipment including scales, box tapers, and palletizers

  • Perform visual quality checks and minor product adjustments as needed

  • Work in various roles: trayer, molder, counter, packer, or helper on production lines

  • Assist with equipment setup and troubleshooting

  • Maintain cleanliness and follow all GMP, food safety, and plant safety guidelines

  • Participate in safety checks, improvement initiatives, and team meetings

  • Follow written and verbal instructions from shift leads and supervisors

  • Safely operate pallet jacks and assist with rework and repackaging when required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 1+ year of experience in food processing, manufacturing, or warehouse preferred

  • Basic math, computer, and communication skills

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements for long periods

  • Comfortable working in hot, cold, and loud environments with required PPE

  • Able to stand, bend, reach, kneel, and move around for 8–13 hours

  • Must be able to work around bakery ingredients (e.g., flour, cinnamon)

  • Experience with GMP standards and food production safety a plus
