Our client, a Metal machine shop in Harper Woods, is seeking a 5-Axis CNC Operator. This is a full-time, on-site Skilled 5-Axis CNC Operator role. The individual will operate and maintain 5-axis CNC machines, interpret blueprints and technical drawings, and produce high-precision parts to meet production specifications. Daily tasks include programming or setting up CNC machines, monitoring operations for quality assurance, performing routine maintenance on machinery, and collaborating with the team to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.

Location: Harper Wood, MI

Shift: 1st Shift:  Monday – Friday with possible overtime

Position type: Long term, full time, permanent

Pay: Based on experience

Qualifications

• 3-5 Years of expertise in Machine Operation, Machining, and Milling
• Strong knowledge of Quality Control procedures to ensure precision and accuracy
• Experience with operating and maintaining various types of Machinery
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a demanding, team-oriented environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience in precision manufacturing or marine industry applications is advantageous
