What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and support a talented team of accounting and bookkeeping professionals
  • Oversee daily accounting clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction across multiple accounts
  • Review and finalize client financial statements, ensuring they meet GAAP and AICPA standards
  • Monitor and improve internal controls, processes, and policies
  • Provide training, coaching, and ongoing development for staff
  • Oversee preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
  • Review Forms 1099/1096 to ensure full compliance with federal regulations
  • Provide hands-on support for client bookkeeping as needed

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA certification or on track to obtain it (strongly preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and AICPA standards
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, etc.) and Microsoft Excel
