Salary: $25-$30/hr.

These machinist positions involve operating both manual and CNC machining equipment to produce precision metal components according to detailed engineering specifications. Responsibilities include setting up machines by selecting the correct tools, fixtures, and materials, adjusting speeds and feeds, and ensuring accurate part production. The role also includes programming or editing CNC programs, monitoring machining operations, and inspecting finished parts using precision measurement tools to verify quality standards. Machinists will interpret technical drawings and blueprints, perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot machining issues, and work with engineering or production teams to improve processes. Strong skills in blueprint reading, CNC programming, problem‑solving, and precision measurement are essential, along with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Pay 

• $25-$35/hr depending on experience 

Core Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual machining equipment to produce precision components
• Read and interpret blueprints, job tickets, and technical drawings to determine machining requirements
• Set up, adjust, and maintain machining equipment, including selecting tools, fixtures, and materials
• Measure and inspect finished parts using precision instruments to ensure accuracy and quality standards
• Collaborate with fabrication and welding teams on custom or complex projects
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Skills & Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with machining tools and techniques, including both manual and CNC operations
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or machining issues efficiently
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and strict adherence to safety protocols
  
• Technical training or certification in machining or manufacturing is preferred but not required
