Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Industrial Painter to join our team. This role involves operating paint booths, preparing surfaces, and using various painting machines and tools to apply coatings to industrial equipment and parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong work history, be comfortable working with both hand and power tools, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain paint booth and associated painting equipment.

• Prepare surfaces for painting through cleaning, sanding, and masking.

• Use painting machines, sprayers, and other tools to apply paint or coatings.

• Perform mechanical assembly tasks related to equipment and painted components.

• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Inspect painted surfaces for quality and consistency, touching up as needed.

• Use hand tools and power tools in the preparation and finishing process.

• Assist in general maintenance and troubleshooting of paint equipment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Minimum [insert years, e.g., 2+ years] of solid work history in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

• Experience in industrial painting preferred but not required.

• Mechanically inclined with the ability to operate and troubleshoot painting equipment.

• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.

• Ability to lift [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs], stand for extended periods, and wear required PPE.

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience operating a paint booth.

• Knowledge of painting techniques and finishes for industrial equipment.
