The Quality Control associate is responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying the quality of products within the warehouse environment. This role ensures that goods received from suppliers and those prepared for shipment meet quality and compliance standards. The QC associate identifies defects, reports inconsistencies, and works closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and suppliers to resolve issues promptly.
Inspect incoming shipments for damage, defects, or discrepancies.
Verify product counts and accuracy against packing lists and purchase orders.
Conduct regular audits on inventory and storage conditions.
Ensure products meet labeling, packaging, and safety standards.
Document inspection results and report quality issues to supervisors or quality managers.
Collaborate with shipping, receiving, and inventory teams to resolve issues.
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory systems.
Basic computer and data entry skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, WMS).
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Physical ability to stand, lift, and move products as needed.
