Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Forklift Driver to join a local company in Tyler, TX! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas who have openings they are looking to fill with great talent we find for them!
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a sit-down forklift to move bags of wood fiber to the delivery section.
Assist with loading wood chips onto a conveyor belt using a small loader/tractor (training provided).
Open and cut bags when needed and ensure clean and safe work areas.
Work as part of a collaborative team, assisting in different areas as necessary.
Maintain productivity while working in hot conditions, particularly in the afternoon/evening.
Perform basic cleaning and troubleshooting if equipment is not functioning properly.
Requirements:
Forklift experience (sit-down forklift required)
Willingness and ability to learn to operate a loader/tractor
Comfortable standing for long periods and working in physically demanding conditions
Team-player with a positive attitude – no drama
Flexible and open to performing multiple tasks across the production line
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (not frequent, but must be open to it)
Comfortable working in a hot and dusty environment (PPE provided)
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Machine Operator
Experience in fast-paced production or warehouse settings
