Commercial Kitchen Equipment Installer

Salary: $24-30/hr

We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Kitchen Equipment Installer to join a growing team! Express Employment is supporting a local company looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined technician who can help with installations and setup of commercial kitchen appliances. If you have HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, or general trades experience, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Install commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, coolers, etc.)
• Assist with delivery, staging, and setup of heavy equipment
• Perform basic mechanical, plumbing, and electrical hookups
• Collaborate with service and project management teams to complete jobs on time
• Troubleshoot installation issues and resolve on-site challenges
• Maintain clean and safe work sites
• Load/unload tools, parts, and equipment for transport to job sites

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, or appliance installation
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work on ladders or rooftops as needed
• Strong mechanical aptitude and tool handling
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to travel to local or regional job sites
• EPA Certification or trade licensing a plus, but not required

Location: Facility in Howell, MI & Field Service Work
Pay: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour + Overtime
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift, with Weekend Availability as Needed, 40 – 60 hours per week
