Private In Home Caregiver

Salary: $22 per hour to start

Express Employment is seeking experienced caregivers for private in home caregiving for an adult female that requires support with physical tasks.  She has NO cognitive delays and is a recent college graduate.  She is very independent.  This is a direct hire position and payroll will not be through Express.

The hourly wage starts at $22 per hour and, after 60 days of successful completion, can go up to $25 per hour.  No healthcare cert required however, ability to have or pass a DOJ background check is necessary.

 

Requirements:

MUST have reliable transportation and valid, current auto insurance

Must NOT be afraid of dogs...client has one small to medium sized Jack Russell type dog

NO drugs or alcohol

Clean background with current DOJ background or the ability to pass a DOJ background check

No healthcare cert required

MUST be ok with day or overnight trips out of town to attend baseball games or other outings

Must be ok with periodic daily activities such as hanging out by the pool or running errands

 

Job Description:

Having a fun day with the client

Run errands periodically and take to appointments

Help with hair and make up

Provide support with physical tasks

Help prepare meals

Light housekeeping as client does have a weekly housekeeper however periodic help with tasks such as dishes, making bed, laundry, etc

Client can transfer but needs help with stability

Help getting client into and out of the shower

 

Schedules available (flexible for the right person):

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday pm shift approximately 5:30 pm to 10 pm

Saturday and Sunday day shift approximately 9:30 am to 4 pm

Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening shift approximately 5:30 pm to 11 pm

Shifts can be combined to have a set schedule

 

Compensation:

$22 per hour to start with the opportunity to go up to $25 per hour after 60 days

Mileage reimbursement

All expenses related to day or overnight trips in town and out of town will be paid i.e. baseball game tickets, hotel room, daily food and hourly wages for the entire trip
