Design Drafter

Located in Lakeville, MN

Salary: $24/HR

We are seeking a Design Drafter to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating detailed technical drawings and collaborating with both engineering and fabrication teams to bring designs to life.

Responsibilities:

• Create Detailed Technical Drawings: Develop accurate and precise CAD drawings for fabrication and production.

• Review and Revise Drawings: Make necessary updates based on feedback or design changes to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.

• Coordinate with Fabrication Team: Work closely with the shop and engineering staff to ensure drawings are clear, complete, and manufacturable.

• Maintain Drawing Files and Documentation: Organize and manage CAD files in line with company standards. Ensure all revisions are properly documented and updated.

• Prepare Shop-Floor Documentation: Generate the necessary paperwork and documentation required for the shop floor.

• Help in the Shop as Needed: Be willing to step in and assist on the floor when required.

Requirements:

• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work in both office and shop environments

• Previous drafting experience preferred

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday, Day Shift

Pay:
$24/hour
