Reel Builder Job Description
The Reel Builder is responsible for operating and monitoring the reeling process to ensure quality and efficiency in production.
Places the correct reel onto the reeler and prepares for start-up, ensuring reels are in good condition.
Operates reeler in both manual and automatic modes.
Monitors print quality, footage markings, and continuous stripe (if required), making necessary corrections.
Conducts quality checks on the product, including:
Proper puller pressure
Stuck cable on C-I-D (Cable In Duct) products
Hot spots and surface temperature of the duct
Print and surface quality
Holes, die-face build-up, and stripe consistency
Ensures reels are neatly wrapped, cuts conduit, ties-off, and caps conduit as needed.
This position is located in Clinton, TN. It is a Monday-Friday, 2nd and 3rd shift available.
