We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Rod Buster to join our team in Mobile, AL, 36608. As a Rod Buster, you will play a crucial role in the construction process by accurately placing and tying rebar to reinforce concrete structures. If you have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for building, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to determine rebar requirements.
Cut, bend, and shape rebar according to project specifications.
Secure rebar in place using wire ties, clamps, and other fastening methods.
Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure timely project completion.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Assist in the training of new team members as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Proven experience as a Rod Buster or in a similar role in construction.
Strong knowledge of rebar installation techniques and safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
